IT'S ALL ABOUT SPEED

Quick release plates
Thanks to the double-layer quick-release plates, mounting the camera on the RS 3 is quick and convenient; no need to rebalance the gimbal for each battery; or after memory card replacements.



The new tilt axis fine-tuner makes it possible; for the camera to slide forward or backward with millimeter precision; thus, accurate balancing is easier to achieve when changing lenses.

Automated axle locks
RS 3 enables immediate commissioning. If the gimbal is off; press and hold the power button; and the three axes dissolve; while the gimbal opens automatically; so you can get to work in seconds. Once you press the power button; the axes automatically lock and go into sleep mode; thus, transport and travel become significantly easier. Press and hold the power button; and the gimbal automatically folds and locks.



Wireless camera control
With the introduction of Dual-Mode Bluetooth, the RS 3 supports wireless camera control; with which ^[1] you save time and energy during use. After initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo recording by pressing the recording button on the stabilizer once. Previously paired cameras will automatically reconnect after the first use; so there is no need for a camera control cable.



PROFESSIONAL STABILIZATION

Excellent weight-to-weight ratio
Weighing only 1.3 kg (including the gimbal, battery grip and quick-release plates), the RS 3 is easy to hold in one hand; while the load capacity of 3 kg is more than enough for mainstream cameras; for example, for use with the Sony A7S3 or Canon R5 24-70mm F2;8 lens.



3rd generation RS stabilization algorithm
Thanks to the next-generation RS stabilization algorithm, the RS 3 provides enhanced stability in all shooting situations. Laboratory tests show; that RS 3 provides 20% more stability compared to RSC 2; so it handles low-angle shots with ease; running or switching between high and low positions.



Beyond smoothness
If you need an even smoother result; turn on SuperSmooth mode. RS 3 increases engine torque; to further improve stabilization; ensuring stable shots even in fast-moving scenes or when using lenses with a focus equivalent to 100mm.

1.8" OLED touch screen
Compared to the RSC 2's black-and-white screen, the RS 3 has a 1.8-inch; 80% larger in size; It has a color OLED touch screen. It also supports settings for most Ronin apps; together with the redesigned user interface provides intuitive and precise control.



Instant mode switching
With a simple slide of the new gimbal mode switch, you can switch between Pan follow; Between Pan and Tilt follow and FPV modes. FPV mode selection can also be customized 3D Roll 360; According to Portrait or Custom; allowing even more precise adjustment of the equipment and quick use.

Customizable front dial
You can control zoom or focus by turning the first dial. In addition, it can be customized to the camera shutter; compartment; its ISO value; or also to control the movement of the gimbal ^[2] ; so it is exceptionally convenient to use with one hand.



EFFICIENT VIDEO TRANSMISSION

Monitoring via smartphone
The RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter (formerly known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter) ^[3] ; which transmits 1080p/30fps HD live image directly to a mobile device. The maximum transmission distance is 200 meters ^[4] and the end-to-end transmission delay is only 60 ms. ^[4] For wireless monitoring, a smartphone can also be connected to the NATO port of the RS 3; using the phone holder.

Integrated monitoring and control
Adjust camera exposure remotely; directly in the Ronin app; ^[2] or control the gimbal with the virtual joystick; for an integrated monitoring and control experience.

Force Mobile
With the Ronin Image Transmitter, your smartphone can be used as a motion controller to remotely control the RS 3 gimbal; thus enabling more flexible and dynamic camera movements.



BATTERY MADE FOR PROFESSIONALS

Quick release design
The new RS 3 battery grip has a cartridge design; so the batteries can be replaced more easily; and has less storage compared to RSC 2. In fact; it can even be charged separately from the gimbal.

12-hour operating time + fast charging
The new battery grip provides an extended operating time of up to 12 hours; ^[5] is sufficient for continuous recording throughout the day. Supports 18W PD fast charging; through which the charging time is only 2.5 hours. It can even be used while charging; so the RS 3 can be kept in operation for an almost unlimited time.



ACCESSORIES ^[6]

New briefcase handle
The redesigned briefcase handle can be folded for convenient storage; and has a new ergonomic handle; to make mounting and switching to briefcase mode easier and faster. The built-in hot shoe connector and 1/4"-20 mounting holes can be used to connect external monitors to help with shooting; thus, low-angle camera movements become even more intuitive.

Brand new Focus engine
The next-generation DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) provides three times stronger torque (up to 1 Nm) and the audible noise has been reduced by 50%. This provides a smoother focusing experience; and reduces the effect on the sound recording. It also uses a quick release mechanism; so it can be easily assembled without tools for faster use.

Vertical camera mount
By installing the vertical camera mount, the camera can be attached vertically to the RS 3; while the camera openings remain accessible. Use it to create high-quality social media content; and portrait photography at different angles becomes possible.
