OPEN CATEGORY - A2 SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM PREPARATION TRAINING
Pursuant to the drone regulations that will enter into force on January 1, 2021, it is mandatory to pass the online theoretical official exam for operations in the open category; according to UAS.OPEN.020 point 4. b) of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947. Also , an additional theoretical exam is required for subcategory A2 (marked C2; for use of drones with a take-off weight between 900 g and 4 kg); according to Part UAS.OPEN.030 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947.

WHO WE RECOMMEND THE TRAINING TO
The training is recommended for those; who intend to fly in the operational subcategory A2 of the open category (marked C2; with a drone with a take-off weight between 900 g and 4 kg); and they want to prepare for the required mandatory exam. The training can be used by both beginners and advanced drone pilots.
The characteristics of the A2 subcategory: take-off weight between 900 g and 4 kg (subsequently marked C2 on drones). The operation should be done as; that the unmanned aerial vehicle does not fly over external persons; and the UAS operation should take place at a safe horizontal distance of at least 30 meters (the remote pilot can reduce the horizontal safety distance from external persons to a minimum of 5 meters; if the unmanned aerial vehicle is operated in an active low-speed mode.
PRESENTATION OF TRAINING
Our instructors prepare remote pilots for the mandatory competency exam required for the A2 subcategory; according to point UAS.OPEN.030 of the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947.
AREAS KNOWN DURING THE TRAINING
The training specifically deals with the topics of the exam questions.
The set of exam questions, consisting of at least 30 questions, will come from the following topics:
• meteorology;
• flight performance of the UAS;
• technical and operational reduction of ground risk.
WHAT CAN YOU USE THE KNOWLEDGE GAINED FOR
The acquisition of knowledge acquired during the training enables; to take the exam with confident knowledge. So; if you learn the training material; then you will probably have no problem passing the additional exam!
After a successful theory test at the legally designated organization and in possession of the necessary documents, you can legally perform UAS operations in subcategory A2 of the open category.

Other requirements of subcategory A2:
In addition to the mandatory additional theoretical exam; the following conditions must be met in order to issue the certificate of competence:
The operation must be performed by a remote pilot; who is familiar with the user manual provided by the UAS manufacturer; and has a certificate of competence for remote pilots issued by the competent authority or an organization ; recognized by the competent authority of the Member State of registration of the UAS operator. This certificate must be obtained after meeting all of the following conditions in the order indicated:
a) completion of an online course and successful completion of an online theoretical exam as mentioned in point 4. b) of UAS.OPEN.020; You can apply for this basic mandatory official course and exam (A1/A3) HERE .
b) completion of independently conducted practical training with regard to the operative conditions of subcategory A3 defined in points 1 and 2 of UAS.OPEN.040; You can apply HERE .
c) statement on completion of the independently conducted practical training specified in point ab); and successful completion of an additional theory test provided by the competent authority or by an organization recognized by the competent authority of the Member State where the UAS operator is registered. The exam must consist of at least 30 multiple-choice questions; and purpose; to assess remote pilots' knowledge of technical and operational ground risk mitigation. Dr. Nándor Csongrádi
Drone pilot
Nándor has been dealing with drones for 4 years. In 2018, he was the dreamer and main organizer of that in Szeged; mass accident simulation; in which the rescue was assisted by the deployment of drones. In 2019, he and his team won the "Independent Developer" category at the Airbus Critical AppChallenge Hungary developer competition; one self-developed; can also be used by drones with an image transmission application.
Mónika Saniszló
Industrial drone pilot
Mónika has been dealing with drone technology for four years; the third in Europe; female specialized industrial drone pilot. In addition to traditional broadcast and industrial activities; as a founder, he also performs volunteer search and rescue tasks in the Hungarian National Rescue Drone Pilots Association. He flies several types of aircraft from multirotors; to fixed-wing drones. Currently, DoubleRingWings is preparing for the type test of its self-developed fixed-wing drone with a long range of over 10 kg. He is busy with administrative processes related to drone technology in his everyday life; deals with education and consulting.

Will the instructors have the opportunity to deal only with me?
We all strive to; to make the live webinar presentation interactive; therefore, we give participants the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments. The goal is; so that you leave the training course satisfied. That is why, of course, we do everything we can to achieve this. We are happy; if you have any questions; since it means; that you are listening and interested in the topic. Feel free to ask your questions in the group sessions; in case the others are also interested in the topic and can learn from the answer(s).
What happens then; if I can't attend the appointment?
In case; if you still cannot participate in our training; please; let us know this as soon as possible! We will refund 100% of the paid fee up to the 10th calendar day before the start of the training; then; only 50% until the working day before the start of the training; but if only on the day of training; or you speak the day before; then unfortunately we are no longer able to refund the paid fee.
